Causes, Symptoms and Treatment of Gynecological Cancer

Gynecologiccancer occurs in the female reproductive system. This cancer is of various types including:fallopian tubes, cervix, ovary, uterus, vagina, and vulva. Risk factors for this form of cancer are growing day by day.

Treatment for gynecologic cancer

Surgery: Surgery is the most common type of cancer treatment. Depending on the severity of gynecological cancer, a decision to accept the attending physician.

Gynecologic sparing surgery: This operation is performed to remove only the cancer but not the whole of the reproductive system. So, this is called gynecological sparing surgery. The physician makes a small incision to know whether the cells have entered the lymphatic system. After this treatment the patient is undergoing radiation therapy to kill any remaining cancer cells.

Mastectomy: It is in this process removes all the tumor along with lymph nodes. After this process operation patient undergoes radiation therapy to completely destroy cancer cells.

Chemotherapy: This treatment is given in the early stages of tumors. Chemotherapy is one of the methods of treatment used to destroy cancer cells, whereby the drugs are used. This process is carried out by taking the pills or via intravascular injection. Cancer drug enters the bloodstream and moves in the direction of the damaged tissue, stopping their unusual growth.
